We have found some of these tips useful, and some of them seem to be for "ideal" situations.   The best dog training advice we can give is to BE CONSISTENT in your training methods. Changing up your methods often won't work and will probably only confuse your puppy.   Also, try to expose your puppy to as many things outside your home as possible. The more he gets to experience as a puppy will only help him as an adult dog.
